I just wanted to say thanks to those of you who turned out for either (or, in a couple of cases, both) of my Retirement Do’s. It was great to see everyone of you, and I’m especially pleased word got around to some ‘old’ faces I wouldn’t otherwise managed to have got hold of.
Sorry if I didn’t get chance to spend as long as I’d like nattering with you. The fact that so many of you (32 at Chesterfield and 48 at Derby) turned up meant a lot to me – I’d have had to eat those chips and drink all that beer myself otherwise.
Like I said in the ‘flyer’ I was handing out willy-bloody-nilly, please Keep In Touch. I hope you’ll enjoy reading about my travels.
